Placement Test

For placing students, we would suggest the following
approach according to scores:
ㆍ 10 and under correct: Consider starting the student at
the level below. In the case of level 1, consider providing
extra remediation before the student starts the course
and extra support through the course
ㆍ10-40 correct: Start the student at the expected level
and monitor progress to check whether remediation or
extra support is required
ㆍ50-75 correct: Consider an extra oral interview to
determine whether the student should start at the
expected level or could start at the level above, with
extra support
ㆍMore than 75 correct: Start the student at the level above
